TALenT Researcher Awarded Breakthrough Cancer Research PhD Scholarship

Hannah O’Toole, a TALenT researcher, has been awarded the 2026 Breakthrough Cancer Research PhD Scholarship for her project, entitled ‘Multimodal ctDNA Analysis for On-Treatment Risk Stratification of Patients with Resectable NSCLC’, supervised by Dr Kathy Gately and Professor Paul Mullan.

This funding provides an exciting opportunity for Hannah to build on her work within the TALenT project, identifying novel markers in the circulating tumour DNA of patients with lung cancer that may predict relapse.

Congratulations to Hannah on this achievement!
