TALenT Researcher Awarded Prestigious 2026 IASLC Adi F. Gazdar Fellowship Grant

The TALenT project is pleased to announce that its postdoctoral researcher, Dr. Ezgi Oner, has been awarded the 2026 Adi F. Gazdar Fellowship Grant by the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC).

As part of this fellowship, Ezgi will lead the research project, "Integrative circulating tumor DNA and proteome profiling to detect and characterize minimal residual disease in early-stage non-small cell lung cancer," under the mentorship of Dr. Valsamo Anagnostou at Johns Hopkins University. This project aims to advance the use of blood-based biomarkers to provide new insights into tumor microenvironment dynamics, improve the early detection of cancer recurrence, support the development of more personalized treatment strategies, and ultimately improve outcomes for patients with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer.

This prestigious fellowship recognizes promising early-career researchers and supports innovative research with the potential to advance the clinical management of lung cancer. Ezgi's award highlights both the significance of her research and the TALenT project's commitment to advancing translational cancer research through international collaboration.
